2) Adyn and Zym are perfectly fine to join ME in MY development of Dota 2 Warlocks, but I refuse to start from scratch and join them after 300+ hours of development already.
This describes the situation from our perspective as well, we have worked on Warlock for quite a long time.
Warlock did not start in its current form, the first Warlock was quite similar to your Dota2 mod. However, since then we have made a big effort to make it better - now we have version 100+ and each version had many tests.
During that development, we have learned on our mistakes and accumulated valuable experience.
I have also worked on other projects and studied IT and thus learned good programming practices.
Unfortunately, after first agreeing to cooperate, later Myll decided that he does not want our experience and he prefers to "start from scratch", in his own words.
This is a good way to learn, and this is what we have done when Warlock was just started. However, it takes time to learn and if we want to release a high quality Warlock mod on Dota2, we cannot afford to learn everything again. Should we sacrifice the WL concept and quality so that someone can learn?
The conflict is sad, because surely a better game can be created if we cooperate. Maybe we will find a common ground.
Meanwhile, we have made progress on the Warlock Dota2 mod. Apart from a few irritating details, Dota's API is quite easy to use.
We are making progress and recreating Warlock systems in Dota2, a public test can be expected soon.
And everyone can be sure that we know how to make a Warlock game.
